Farmina Vet Life Struvite Management is a complete dietary food for adult dogs, indicated for the management of patients with lower urinary tract uroliths. Mode of action: The calcium sulphate providing a slight urinary acidification, reduces the risk of recurrence of struvite urolithes. The reduced protein content limiting urea excretion, decreases the bacterial proliferation. Low ammounts of magnesium, phosphorus and calcium decrease the crystals aggregation and precipitation. Treatment modalities: The duration of dietary treatment for the maintenance is up to six months. It is recommended that a veterinarian’s opinion be sought before use and before extending the period of use. Serve the product as it is, following the daily quantity indicated in the table. The daily quantities can change according to breed, environment, physical exercise, temperament and severity of the disease. The quantities shown in the table are purely indicative and require an adjustment to obtain optimal weight. The dose can be divided into two daily meals or more. Always leave a clean bowl of fresh water throughout the day in order to hydrate the animal as much as possible.
